June 23, 1893 is the earliest edition of the Hamiota Hustler available on microfilm.

The Hustler covered numerous small communities: Warleigh, Logoch, Penrith, Arrowton, Chumah, Viola Dale, Scotia, Carlingsville, and Ralphton to name a few. Not all were within the borders of the Rural Municipality of Hamiota.
