GenWeb This site is hosted by Elaine (Routledge) Taylor and, by association, her Dad - Jim Routledge. The family has very long and deep roots, dating from 1882, in the Hamiota Municipality. There are many branches of those original roots still growing in the Hamiota area. Together, the Routledges are working on a history project to document their roots in the Hamiota community. This site was created with the express intent to make researchers aware of the resources available for finding their roots in the Rural Municipality of Hamiota. Its creators hope to provide an insider's perspective of growing up in the community and help make contacts for, between, and among long lost relatives.
